Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Recruiter, China Retail to support the growth of our retail store organization across China. This role will manage end-to-end recruitment for store leadership positions, build sustainable talent pipelines, and deliver a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience. The Sr. Recruiter, China Retail will partner closely with the China People & Culture Business Partner, Retail Managers, Retail Store Managers, and Global Talent Acquisition, while managing external recruiting resources and vendors to meet evolving business needs.

What you'll get to do:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for retail store leadership positions across China, including intake discussions, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, selection, offer management, and pre-hire follow-up.
  • Partner closely with the China People & Culture Business Partner, Retail Managers, and Retail Store Managers to understand workforce plans, hiring priorities, role requirements, and local market needs.
  • Collaborate with Global Talent Acquisition to align local recruiting practices, systems, employer branding, processes, and candidate experience with global standards.
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies and sustainable talent pipelines for current and future store hiring needs, including new store openings and ongoing retail recruitment.
  • Provide market insights and consultative guidance to hiring managers on talent availability, sourcing channels, hiring timelines, and recruitment approaches.
  • Manage recruiting resources and external vendors relationships, including search firms, recruitment agencies, job boards, and other sourcing partners; monitor service quality, delivery, and cost effectiveness.
  • Use recruiting data, funnel metrics, and market intelligence to identify trends, evaluate channel effectiveness, track progress, and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely recruitment records, dashboards, and reporting, and communicate risks, priorities, and progress clearly to key stakeholders.
  • Create a consistent, inclusive, and brand-aligned candidate experience that reflects Vuori’s culture and values.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of retail recruiting processes, tools, and employer branding initiatives in China.

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience with strong, hands-on experience hiring retail store leadership roles; experience in apparel, fashion, sports, lifestyle, or consumer retail is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of China’s retail talent market, sourcing channels, and recruitment practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze recruiting data, interpret funnel and channel performance, and translate insights into practical actions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships across local retail teams, People & Culture, and Global Talent Acquisition.
  • Experience managing recruitment agencies, headhunters, job boards, and other external recruiting resources.
  • Experience in both in-house and agency/search-firm recruiting environments is highly desirable; candidates with a headhunting or recruitment agency background are preferred.
  • Strong sourcing, interviewing, communication, organization, and project management skills, with a high sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment and balancing strategic partnership with hands-on execution.
