The Employment Opportunity:

VxL Canada is seeking highly skilled and licensed event / tactical security personnel for uniformed security services. Candidates receive exceptional training from one of America’s highest skilled security organizations and from the US Government. VxL offers competitive compensation and employment benefits. Our current need is in downtown Toronto, Ontario. Employees in good standing after one year also receive letters of recommendation.

Various shift times range from as early as 7AM - with end times as late as 5PM, Monday to Friday.

Supernumerary Position – Role Description

A supernumerary position is a flexible staffing role designed to fill open shifts and provide coverage where operational needs arise. Employees in this role are required to report for duty each morning and be available to work full-time hours, with the expectation that they will fill available shifts as needed. If an open shift is available, the employee will be assigned to that shift and work the scheduled hours. If no open shifts are available, the employee will receive a minimum of four (4) hours of work per day before being released from duty. This position guarantees a minimum of 20 hours per week (four hours per day, five days per week); however, employees must maintain full-time availability, as the primary objective is to provide coverage for open shifts and staffing shortages.

Who you are:

You have at least 2 years security experience in either tactical and or event security who is looking to grow and wants to work an extremely high profile site in downtown Toronto. You have excellent communication and de-escalation skills, bonus if you have NVCI, MoRb/MoAb, and or Mental Health training, but they are not required.

Requirements
