Over onze school

De Rozenkransschool is een dynamische katholieke basisschool in Wilrijk. Onze school is een warme plek waar optimisme, zorg en een gemoedelijke sfeer hand in hand gaan met onderwijsvernieuwing, digitalisering en creativiteit. Met een hecht team van leerkrachten, zorgcoördinatoren, ondersteuners en een actief oudercomité bouwen we elke dag aan een omgeving waarin elk kind zijn of haar talenten kan ontdekken en ontwikkelen. Onze christelijke inspiratie vertaalt zich in eigentijdse waarden: respect, naastenliefde, eerlijkheid, openheid naar de wereld en zorg voor mens en milieu.

Jouw uitdaging als directeur

Als directeur ben jij het gezicht, het rustpunt en de stuwende kracht van onze school:

  • Pedagogisch leider : Je volgt de actuele onderwijsontwikkelingen en vertaalt die in een duurzame visie.
  • Onderwijskundig leider: Je bewaakt de onderwijskwaliteit met een aantoonbare impact op Nederlands, effectieve didactiek en zorg voor elk kind.
  • Verbindend teamcoach: Je koestert de sterke teamgeest, communiceert transparant en stimuleert gedeeld leiderschap waarin leerkrachten zich gewaardeerd en ondersteund voelen.
  • Aanwezig en benaderbaar aanspreekpunt: Je staat midden in het schoolleven, bent laagdrempelig aanwezig (ook aan de schoolpoort) en onderhoudt constructieve relaties met ouders en partners.
  • Strategisch & operationeel beheerder: Je zet je schouders onder de modernisering van onze schoolinfrastructuur en de uitbouw van een veilige, toekomstbestendige en groene leeromgeving.

Wie zoeken wij?

  • Onderwijskundige visie: Je hebt ervaring in of een grondige kennis van het basisonderwijs en bent vertrouwd met de uitdagingen van het katholiek onderwijsproject.
  • Leider met hart en daadkracht: Je bent een warme, empathische leider die rust brengt, maar ook besluitvaardig knopen doorhakt wanneer nodig.
  • Sterke communicator: Je communiceert open, helder en opbouwend met het team, het schoolbestuur, ouders en externe partners.
  • Organisatorisch talent: Je combineert een heldere langetermijnvisie met een gestructureerde aanpak van administratieve, financiële en infrastructuurgebonden taken.
