The posting

Kwaliteit begint bij wat binnenkomt. Bij WAAK in Kuurne maken we kabelbomen voor klanten in HVAC en automotive: van warmtepompen en airco's tot slimme meters. Technische producten waar geen ruimte is voor fouten. Als Quality Engineer zorg jij ervoor dat de materialen die we aankopen blijvend voldoen aan alle specificaties, zodat wat bij ons buitengaat klopt.

Wat ga je doen?

Je dag begint op de vloer van onze productieafdeling. Daar ben jij het aanspreekpunt bij kwaliteitsvaststellingen. Meldt een controleur een afwijking of tonen de cijfers een trend die je niet vertrouwt? Dan zoek je de oorzaak en werk je samen met de afdelings- en groepsverantwoordelijken een correctieve actie uit. Je volgt ook op of die echt effect heeft. Moeten producten of geblokkeerde stock herkeurd of nabewerkt worden? Dan organiseer jij dat.

Tijdens de vaste overlegmomenten ben jij de stem van kwaliteit in de afdeling. Je brengt de cijfers, legt uit wat ze betekenen en stuurt bij waar nodig.

Ligt de oorzaak niet in ons eigen proces, maar bij een aangekocht onderdeel? Dan neem jij het op met de leverancier. Je analyseert het probleem intern, maakt de klacht op en volgt samen met de leverancier de corrigerende acties op tot het structureel opgelost is. Je bent het kwaliteitsaanspreekpunt voor onze leveranciers en bepaalt hoe we inkomende goederen beoordelen: met maximale zekerheid en zo weinig mogelijk overbodige controles. Ook de kwaliteitsopvolging en administratie van aangekochte en toegeleverde artikelen ligt bij jou.

Je rapporteert aan onze kwaliteitsmanager en werkt nauw samen met collega's uit productie, de kwaliteitsdienst en de ondersteunende diensten.

Wat breng je mee?

  • Een bachelordiploma, bij voorkeur in een technische richting of gelijkwaardig aan ervaring
  • Je weet hoe een productieomgeving werkt en eruitziet, via een stage of werkervaring
  • Inzicht in productie- en kwaliteitsprocessen
  • Je analyseert problemen grondig en werkt systematisch en nauwkeurig
  • Je handelt proactief en hebt de slagkracht om acties door te zetten en op te volgen
  • Je communiceert vlot, zowel met collega's op de vloer als met leveranciers
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands
