Job Description

Who will you be working with?

We are an experienced engineering team in the rail transit industry, providing customers with passenger information systems and related products, bringing them convenient and comfortable experiences with advanced and reliable products. The global design team has gathered talents in systems, hardware, software, mechanical structure, testing, etc. Through the team's efforts and dedication, it meets the customized needs of customers.

How will you make a difference?

As a System Engineer based in China, you will serve as a pivotal technical communication bridge for the team. Your core responsibilities will include receiving, analyzing and finalizing customer technical requirements, then translating and decomposing these requirements into actionable work packages for the relevant R&D teams. You will also track the full lifecycle of requirement implementation, ensuring seamless delivery until the rolling stock is officially put into stable revenue service.

You will act as the technical backbone for project steering, playing a critical role in driving project delivery. This is a high-impact position that offers a broad professional platform to unleash your technical expertise and potential. You will collaborate with top global partners in the railway industry, gaining valuable international project experience and industry insights.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in system integration (hardware-software combination); candidates with a background in rolling stock subsystems or automotive industry subsystems are highly preferred.
  • Profound understanding and practical experience in the full system development process.
  • Fluent English proficiency in both oral and written communication, capable of professional technical communication and documentation in English.
  • Excellent skills in creating and compiling technical documentation, with a focus on accuracy and comprehensiveness.
  • Self-driven, highly organized, and equipped with strong cross-team communication and coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with the EN45545 standard is a significant plus.
  • A professional background in software development is a plus.

What will your typical day look like?

· Analyze customer technical requirements and conduct formal finalization and confirmation with relevant stakeholders.

· Design and propose targeted technical solutions and clearly define the scope of products and services to be supplied.

· Support the marketing team in completing commercial quotation work by providing professional technical input.

· Manage and track technical requirements throughout the project lifecycle using professional management tools (e.g., Polariton).

· Follow up on the R&D development process and take accountability for the approval and sign-off of key project milestones (GO/NO GO).

· Compile, collect and archive all project-related documentation, including but not limited to:

- Clause-by-clause technical specification documents.

- System function descriptions and product data sheets.

- RAMS, LCC, and fire & smoke protection related documents.

- Various verification and validation (V&V) reports.

· Conduct regular communication and alignment with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth progress of all project phases.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
