Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Vehicle Transportation & Shuttle Services

  • Safely transport customer vehicles between dealership locations, remote shops, and other designated facilities.
  • Shuttle technicians back and forth between the main dealership and remote service locations as operational needs require.
  • Provide customer shuttle services when needed.
  • Coordinate transportation requests with the Service Manager, advisors, and shop leadership.
  • Ensure vehicles are delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.
  • Assist with vehicle pick-up and delivery when requested.

Vehicle & Lot Management

  • Park and retrieve customer vehicles as directed.
  • Maintain organization of customer parking areas, service drives, and designated vehicle staging areas.
  • Ensure customer vehicles are locked and secured when unattended.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dealership service areas.
  • Report any vehicle damage, warning lights, or concerns noticed during transportation immediately to management.

General Service Department Support

  • Assist service advisors and technicians with daily operational needs.
  • Help move vehicles throughout the dealership and between service locations.
  • Assist with organizing loaner vehicles and maintaining proper vehicle placement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support department efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to safely operate a variety of customer vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions when applicable.
  • Professional, dependable, and punctual.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow direction.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive service environment.
  • Ability to safely enter, exit, and move vehicles throughout the workday.

Performance Expectations

  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers and employees.
  • Prioritize technician transportation requests to minimize lost production time.
  • Transport vehicles safely and responsibly at all times.
  • Maintain consistent communication with management regarding transportation needs or delays.
  • Demonstrate accountability, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Represent Wagner Subaru professionally at all dealership and remote locations.
