Position Overview:

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their team in the greater Boston area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a passion for delivering successful projects. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with our project management team to ensure the successful completion of new construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the project management team in all aspects of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution

- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications

- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders

- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports

- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met

- Communicate project updates and issues to the project management team and clients

- Assist in resolving any project-related conflicts or issues that may arise

- Participate in project meetings and provide input and recommendations for project improvement

- Help to manage project budget and track project expenses

- Ensure project timelines are met and make adjustments as necessary to keep projects on track

- Assist with project closeout, including final inspections and documentation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field

- 2-3 years of experience in construction project management

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials

- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite

- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
