Role summary:
The (USA) Manager, Quality Assurance, leads the development and execution of quality assurance programs to ensure consistent customer service delivery and operational excellence. This role involves analyzing quality data, identifying improvement opportunities, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective process enhancements. The manager oversees product quality and performance, provides actionable feedback, and supports associate development through coaching and mentoring. Upholding company policies and ethical standards, this position drives continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and operational performance while fostering a culture of accountability and integrity. About the team: The Quality Assurance team leads supplier quality management by implementing rigorous protocols and continuous improvement processes. They collaborate with suppliers to validate product performance before production, driving quality initiatives and managing corrective and preventive actions. The team ensures manufacturing processes meet high standards through strong leadership and effective communication. They assess supplier performance, provide actionable feedback, and support process enhancements. Committed to maintaining product quality and operational excellence, the team fosters accountability and consistent delivery aligned with Walmart’s dedication to customer satisfaction and operational integrity. What you'll do:
- Conduct finite element analysis simulations to evaluate the structural behavior and performance of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems
- Develop and implement FEA models using software tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar platforms
- Validate FEA predictions through correlation with experimental data and real-world testing
- Document analysis methodologies, assumptions, and results in clear and concise technical reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of FEA findings into product design and development processes
- Developing components/assemblies in Solidworks 3D CAD Software
- Use 3D printers/materials to exectute additive manufacturing or sample creation
What you'll bring:
- Strong understanding of structural mechanics, material properties, and numerical methods.
- Proven experience in finite element analysis, including proficiency in FEA software tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar).
- Familiarity with CAD software for geometry preparation and mesh generation.
- Proven experience in quality assurance management, including conducting audits and delivering actionable feedback to improve service quality.
- Expertise in analyzing quality data, root cause analysis, and implementing continuous improvement processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to develop and execute quality assurance plans and corrective actions.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting findings and influencing cross-functional teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
