This role works closely with senior leaders and teams across the business to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and develop practical solutions that help associates feel valued, supported, and included.

Using data, research, and feedback, this leader helps guide important business decisions, improve how teams work together, and develop programs that can be used across the organization. The Senior Manager builds strong relationships, leads complex projects, and helps turn company goals into clear plans and meaningful results.

You will help Walmart turn its belonging goals into practical actions that support associates and the business. • Advise Business Leaders: Work with senior leaders and Global People (Human Resources) teams to understand business challenges, recommend solutions, and make informed decisions that support company goals.
  • Use Data to Find Opportunities: Review workforce information, business results, research, and industry trends to identify challenges, understand what is working, and recommend improvements.
  • Turn Insights into Action: Explain findings and recommendations in a clear, practical way. Help leaders understand their options, consider different viewpoints, and make decisions based on facts and business needs.
  • Support Global Belonging Goals: Help develop and carry out strategies that strengthen belonging across Walmart. Consider the needs of associates, business priorities, and differences in local laws, cultures, and business environments.
  • Build Strong Partnerships: Work with Global People, business leaders, subject matter experts, and other teams to share information, solve problems, agree on priorities, and deliver results together.
  • Create Practical Solutions: Identify better ways to work, develop new programs and resources, and create solutions that can be used across different teams and areas of the business.
  • Bring People Together: Lead discussions, planning sessions, and team activities that encourage people to share ideas, learn from different perspectives, and find solutions to shared challenges.
  • Guide Change: Help teams understand and manage changes by developing clear plans, setting timelines, tracking progress, addressing problems, and keeping projects on course.
  • Support Associate Growth and Retention: Partner with business leaders to identify ways to help associates develop their skills, grow in their careers, and build stronger connections to their teams and the company.
  • Help Teams Succeed: Coach and support team members, provide timely and useful feedback, encourage professional growth, and create an environment where people can work together effectively.
  • Follow Company Policies and Laws: Help ensure that programs and decisions follow Walmart policies, standards of ethics and integrity, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Measure Results and Improve: Review the results of projects and programs, gather feedback, identify what could work better, and recommend changes that improve results and make better use of resources.

What You'll Bring...

  • Experience leading projects or initiatives that involve multiple teams and business areas.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use data and research to understand challenges and recommend solutions.
  • Experience working with leaders and influencing decisions, even when people have different opinions or priorities.
  • Ability to build relationships, bring people together, and help teams work toward common goals.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information and present recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Experience developing programs, improving processes, or finding better ways to meet business and people-related goals.
  • A commitment to helping create a workplace where people feel respected, valued, and able to contribute.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting the growth and development of others.
  • Good business judgment and the ability to make thoughtful decisions while balancing business needs and associate experiences.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
