About the team: The Marketplace Finance team plays a critical role in driving financial planning, analysis, and risk mitigation to support business performance. This team collaborates across functions to develop robust financial models, ensure effective controls, and enhance reporting transparency. Members lead multiple projects, communicate key insights to senior management, and contribute to strategic decision-making. The team fosters a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth, emphasizing clear communication and strong partnerships. Together, they uphold high standards of integrity and financial management to deliver value and support Walmart’s mission.
What you'll do:
- Prepare financial analyses and models to support planning and recommend future expense targets.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business performance and enhance reporting transparency.
- Manage control structures to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Communicate financial results, forecasts, and variances to senior management with clear presentations.
- Lead execution of business plans by identifying needs, setting priorities, and adjusting performance accordingly.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop associates to build a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
- Promote ethical standards and support company values through training and leadership.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling to support business performance and expense target recommendations.
- Proven ability to manage complex control structures and mitigate financial risks through process development and monitoring.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial results to senior management.
- Expertise in developing and executing business plans, setting performance standards, and driving continuous improvement.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area. 1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects. 1 year’s supervisory experience.
