Role summary: The (USA) Manager, Merchandising Planning, applies advanced expertise to develop and execute strategic action plans that align with business objectives and customer needs. About the team: The Merchandising Execution team transforms assortment strategies into actionable inventory plans, ensuring product availability across all shopping channels. Collaborating closely with Merchants, the team enhances inventory productivity, in-stock performance, and financial outcomes. Utilizing expertise in inventory planning, forecasting, supply chain coordination, and data analysis, the team optimizes product flow and addresses challenges efficiently. This group drives key decisions related to inventory, service, and profitability, supporting a seamless customer experience through continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. Their efforts contribute significantly to operational excellence and financial success at scale. What you'll do:
- Lead category financial forecasting using data analytics and business intelligence to project results and guide team actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align forecasts, promotional plans, and feature strategies with business objectives.
- Analyze sales, inventory, and pricing impacts to optimize merchandise planning and maximize profitability.
- Develop and communicate financial targets, budgets, and performance updates to stakeholders.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve customer outcomes and drive sales optimization.
- Utilize digital tools to assess category health, identify opportunities, and influence strategic decisions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, coaching, and accountability within the merchandising planning team.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in merchandising planning, category management, and inventory oversight to drive sales optimization.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and profit and loss management.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and leverage business intelligence to inform strategic decisions and improve financial outcomes.
- Skilled in influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align on promotional and feature strategies.
- Demonstrated capability to develop actionable plans based on customer insights and market trends.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
