Role summary:
The Manager, Technology Operations leads execution of technical programs and operational workstreams supporting enterprise catalog platforms, item data quality, and operational stability. This role connects business and technology teams, coordinating across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Merchandising, and Operations to translate business needs into requirements, use cases, testing, and scalable solutions. The manager owns program milestones, dependencies, risks, escalations, and implementation readiness while ensuring solutions meet business requirements and service expectations. Using data and operational insights, this role identifies recurring issues, drives continuous improvement and automation, and strengthens the reliability, effectiveness, and adoption of catalog capabilities across the enterprise. About the team:
The Merchandise Transformation Catalog team supports merchandising and business operations by improving enterprise catalog capabilities, item data quality, and operational stability. The team collaborates across Merchandising, Product Management, Engineering, and Data Science to translate business needs into clear requirements, use cases, and scalable improvements. Focused on strong program execution, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination, the team ensures solutions address business needs and deliver measurable outcomes for merchandising. The team applies expertise in program management, stakeholder communication, merchandising, and technology operations to improve how item information is managed and used across the enterprise. What you'll do:
- Manage technical programs and operational workstreams, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, testing, implementation, and post-launch activities.
- Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Merchandising, and Operations to deliver against business requirements and timelines.
- Translate business needs and operational insights into clear requirements, use cases, acceptance criteria, and testing scenarios.
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, defects, and adoption, identifying gaps and coordinating corrective actions.
- Analyze data and system behavior to identify root causes, process gaps, and automation opportunities.
- Support release readiness through testing, documentation, training, and implementation planning.
- Build effective cross-functional relationships to maintain alignment, accountability, and execution momentum across business and technology teams.
What you'll bring:
- Experience managing technical projects or workstreams, including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery.
- Working knowledge of merchandising processes, item and product data, and how technology supports business operations.
- Ability to translate business needs into requirements, use cases, testing scenarios, and actionable plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across business and technology teams.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional activities, manage dependencies, and follow through on commitments.
- Comfort working through ambiguity, learning complex systems, and adapting as business priorities evolve.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
