Position Summary...
What you'll do...
The Growth Marketing & Operations Sr. Manager, PMM Operations & Enablement will lead the strategy, design, governance, and continuous evolution of Walmart Connect’s Product Marketing operating system.
This role will translate PMM strategy into an integrated operating model spanning organizational structure, processes, governance, systems, metrics, capacity, and operating rhythms. The role will define how PMM teams plan, prioritize, allocate resources, make decisions, collaborate across functions, bring products to market, and drive adoption across Walmart Connect’s portfolio.
As a strategic partner to PMM Leadership, Product, Sales, Analytics, Enablement, and Marketing Operations, this leader will diagnose operating-model gaps and design scalable ways of working that improve role clarity, organizational capacity, decision-making, launch readiness, and execution consistency. Success requires simplifying complexity, creating operational leverage, and enabling PMMs to spend more time driving strategic business impact.
SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE MEANS
- Delivering a scalable PMM operating model that aligns organizational structure, processes, governance, systems, capacity, and operating rhythms.
- Enabling PMMs to spend less time navigating processes and ownership questions and more time driving strategic product and business outcomes.
- Giving leadership clear visibility into priorities, capacity, dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and outcomes.
- Establishing clear decision rights, ownership boundaries, and engagement models across PMM and cross-functional partners.
- Strengthening planning, commercialization, and GTM governance while ensuring operating mechanisms accelerate decisions rather than create unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Driving sustained adoption of PMM ways of working through scalable frameworks, enablement, automation, and institutional knowledge.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
PMM Operating Model & Organizational Effectiveness
- Design and continuously evolve the end-to-end PMM operating model spanning organizational structure, planning, commercialization, go-to-market execution, adoption, and performance measurement.
- Translate PMM strategy into clear roles, decision rights, governance, systems, metrics, capacity models, and recurring operating rhythms.
- Diagnose organizational friction, ownership gaps, and breakdowns in accountability, then redesign ways of working to address root causes.
- Define how PMM teams and cross-functional partners interact across the product lifecycle, including operating agreements, engagement models, handoffs, and escalation paths.
- Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, eliminate low-value activity, reduce duplication, and balance enterprise consistency with business flexibility.
Planning, Capacity & Portfolio Operations
- Lead quarterly planning, commit management, and prioritization processes that align PMM capacity and investment to organizational goals.
- Develop workload and capacity-planning frameworks that give leadership visibility into demand, resource constraints, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs.
- Establish prioritization criteria and decision mechanisms that support transparent investment and resource-allocation decisions.
- Assess role clarity, ownership, capabilities, and operating capacity as business and portfolio needs evolve.
- Identify where work should be centralized, standardized, automated, simplified, delegated, or eliminated.
- Facilitate executive review forums and translate portfolio insights into clear decisions, actions, and accountability.
GTM, Commercialization & PMM Infrastructure
- Own and evolve Walmart Connect’s GTM and commercialization framework as part of the broader PMM operating system.
- Establish launch-readiness standards, decision forums, milestones, and escalation mechanisms appropriate to business impact, complexity, and risk.
- Partner with PMM, Product, and Sales Enablement to clarify commercialization roles, handoffs, dependencies, and success measures.
- Design systems and workflows that connect product strategy, market readiness, launch execution, field enablement, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
- Use performance data, stakeholder feedback, and retrospectives to improve PMM infrastructure, operational tooling, workflows, and automation.
Enablement & Change Management
- Develop and execute change strategies that drive adoption of PMM operating models, processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Assess stakeholder readiness, change impact, adoption barriers, and capability gaps before introducing new operating mechanisms.
- Build scalable documentation, training, communications, toolkits, and support models that enable consistent execution and self-service.
- Partner with PMM leaders and change champions to reinforce new behaviors, accountability, and expectations.
- Define adoption measures and use performance data and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve processes and enablement.
SUPPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with Marketing Operations leadership to connect the PMM operating model to the broader future-state Marketing Operating Model.
- Collaborate with AI, Analytics, Automation, and Tool Governance leaders to align PMM systems, data, workflows, and performance measurement.
- Identify technology and automation opportunities that improve PMM productivity, decision-making, and operational effectiveness.
