Role summary:

The Senior Manager, Strategic Account Management leads the execution of business plans by identifying seller and operational needs, developing alc seller growth strategies, and removing obstacles to enhance performance and grow sellers. This role oversees team development through coaching and mentoring while fostering a collaborative environment. The position requires strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation expertise, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable initiatives. By leveraging data-driven insights and industry knowledge, the Senior Manager drives strategic account growth, ensures compliance with company standards, and supports continuous improvement to deliver measurable business value. About the team: The Local Marketplace (LMP) team advances Walmart Marketplace’s local commerce by integrating leading brick-and-mortar retailers onto Walmart.com. Focused on enabling customers to access local store inventory through same-day pickup and delivery, LMP expands assortment and convenience while creating new growth channels for strategic retailers. The team collaborates cross-functionally to connect Marketplace demand with physical store networks, leveraging strong stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and project management skills. Together, they enhance Walmart.com’s position as a premier destination for local commerce, delivering value through innovative solutions and effective relationship management. What you'll do:

  • Drive execution of strategic business plans by identifying needs, setting priorities, and removing obstacles to optimize performance.
  • Lead and develop associates through mentoring, coaching, and performance management to build a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and improve business initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize data analytics and market insights to inform decision-making, forecast sales, and build joint business plans with key accounts.
  • Lead complex negotiations and sales presentations to secure mutually beneficial outcomes and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Promote adherence to company policies, ethics, and standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven expertise in strategic account management with strong business planning and execution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop associates through coaching and mentoring.
  • Advanced negotiation skills and experience driving complex sales processes and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data, forecast sales, and build business cases with measurable ROI.
  • Executive presence with experience delivering impactful presentations and influencing senior leadership.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills to foster collaboration across various business partners and markets.
  • Adaptability to evolving business needs and commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401: The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10649: The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
