The posting

$17.00/hour | 40 guaranteed hours | Every Wednesday and Sunday off | No nights

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 10am–6pm

You’ll keep the lot running. That means getting vehicles where they need to go, keeping them clean and ready to sell, and helping the sales team hand customers the keys. You’ll be on your feet and moving all day, not stuck behind a desk.

You don’t need any automotive experience. We’ll train you. Show up on time and stay willing to help, and you’ll do well here.

Where This Can Lead Lot Tech is how a lot of people get started at Walser. Team members have moved from this role into Sales, Service, Inventory Management, Operations, and Corporate jobs. We promote from within, and we’ll show you the path.

What You’ll Do

  • Move, park, and organize vehicles on the lot
  • Check in new inventory as it arrives
  • Clean, detail, and fuel vehicles so they’re ready to sell
  • Help the sales team get sold vehicles ready for delivery
  • Take vehicles to the service center for safety inspections
  • Make sure every vehicle has the right price sticker and inspection report
  • Drive vehicles to other dealerships in the metro for dealer trades
  • Take vehicle photos and videos and enter vehicle info into our system (we’ll teach you the tools)
  • Help the Inventory Manager with whatever comes up

What You Need

  • You must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • You need to be comfortable working outside in Minnesota weather
  • You need to be reliable and on time
  • You need a good attitude and a willingness to jump in
  • You’ll wear safety glasses and slip-resistant, hard-toed shoes in the service area
