Der Walter Zoo in Gossau SG ist ein wissenschaftlich geführter Zoo, der 1‘000 Tiere aus rund 100 verschiedenen Arten pflegt. Er begeistert jährlich über 275‘000 Besuchende für die Tierwelt und weckt Interesse und Verständnis für ihre Bedürfnisse und den Schutz ihrer Lebensräume. Der Zoo engagiert sich in verschiedenen Artenschutzprojekten und leitet selbst zwei Pflegestationen für einheimische Wildtiere. Die Gastronomie im Walter Zoo ist vielfältig und auf ein breites Publikum ausgerichtet. Das Selbstbedienungs-Restaurant mit Terrasse wird ergänzt durch ein Angebot aus Kiosken, Snackständen und saisonalen Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten. Zusätzlich bietet der Walter Zoo diverse Event- und Bankettmöglichkeiten für Gruppen und Veranstaltungen.

Ihre Aufgaben - Produktion von kalten und warmen Speisen in unserer offenen Küche - Bedienung unserer Gäste am Küchenpass - Tägliches Mise en place für das Tagesgeschäft - Unterstützung bei Veranstaltungen und ab November 2026 bis Ende Januar 2027 Unterstützung im Tingel-Tangel Varieté - Einhalten der Hygienevorschriften (HACCP) und Qualitätsvorgaben - Allgemeine Reinigungsaufgaben

Was Sie mitbringen - Langjährige Erfahrung in der Küche und abgeschlossene Kochausbildung - Flexibel einsetzbar an Wochentagen sowie an Wochenenden, Feiertagen und Schulferien - Selbständige strukturierte und organisierte Arbeitsweise - Teamfähigkeit - Freundliches kunden- und dienstleistungsorientiertes Auftreten sowie gepflegtes Erscheinungsbild, einwandfreie Umgangsformen und positive Ausstrahlung - Freude am Beruf - Gute Deutschkenntnisse
