Your New Role

Warner Bros Tours and Retail brand is seeking an Ecommerce Content & Operations Manager to oversee content and creative production, product launches, onsite quality and ecommerce operations across the UK, US and Japan storefronts. This is a twelve-month contract position, supporting a growing ecommerce operation with an ambitious launch calendar and increased franchise activity over the next 12 months.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving ecommerce best practices, establishing clear operational standards and delivering high-profile product launches across multiple international markets. This position offers the opportunity to make an immediate and visible impact within a rapidly evolving business supporting major Harry Potter franchise activity.

If you are an experienced ecommerce professional who enjoys balancing strategic ownership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end content and creative production programme across UK, US and Japan storefronts, including content planning, editorial, photography, homepage and landing page content, email creative development, tone of voice governance and content quality standards.
  • Own the ecommerce product launch process across all storefronts, ensuring launch readiness through the completion of product data, assets, promotional set-up, stock readiness and risk management activities while coordinating multiple stakeholders against fixed launch deadlines.
  • Support delivery of the ecommerce site roadmap by coordinating feature development, overseeing user acceptance testing and quality assurance activities, and embedding new functionality into business-as-usual operations.
  • Be accountable for onsite quality, site standards and product data governance across all storefronts, including regular site reviews, performance reporting, conversion optimisation support and operational process improvement.
  • Lead search, taxonomy and discoverability initiatives, including onsite SEO, search configuration, product recommendations, site hierarchy and evolving optimisation approaches.
  • Oversee promotion planning and execution across all storefronts, ensuring promotions are tested, compliant, accurately configured and clearly communicated before launch.
  • Lead and develop the central content team, providing structure, accountability and coaching while supporting customer service standards, franchise-wide content alignment and deputising for the Senior Ecommerce Manager when required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven ecommerce content, site management, trading or digital content experience within a direct-to-consumer, retail, consumer products, licensed retail or comparable ecommerce environment.
  • Extensive experience owning high-volume product launch calendars or end-to-end launch processes, managing critical paths, coordinating multiple dependencies and identifying risks early.
  • Previous experience leading and developing teams, alongside strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across Brand, Franchise, Buying, Merchandising and Technology functions.
  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce content management, website operations, product data governance, launch readiness, onsite SEO, UX principles, site merchandising, taxonomy and discoverability.
  • Previous experience using Shopify or a comparable ecommerce platform, with experience supporting ecommerce development roadmaps and user acceptance testing activities preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
