The posting

Warren Wilson College is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Student Financial Aid. The Director will lead the College’s student financial aid functions to support the institution’s broader enrollment and retention goals through a consistent, student-focused approach that balances regulatory compliance with practical problem solving and efficiency.

The Director reports to and works alongside the Vice President of Enrollment Management on strategic innovations and improvements within and across the division, and supervises a staff consisting of a full-time Associate Director and a shared full-time Student Financial Services Advisor, with a split schedule between Student Accounts and Financial Aid. The Director of Financial Aid also coordinates veterans’ benefits as the School Certifying Officer. The individual in this role is expected to be a leader with a visible presence on campus, with a willingness to engage in a highly collaborative (and fun!) work environment as the resident financial aid expert. The ideal candidate brings both technical expertise, knowledge of best practices, and guidance to ensure students receive accurate, timely support while the College maintains strong compliance to navigate regulatory changes within the industry.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
