Employees and volunteers of YMCA of Southwestern Ontario are ambassadors for the Y both on and off the job. Position:     Group Fitness Instructor Rate of Pay: $17.60/hour Start Date:        ASAP Compensation/Benefits:

Qualifications & Experience:

2 or more years of training/post secondary education in Physical and/or Health Education or related field along with 1+ years related work experience or a combination of both education and experience is preferred Excellent customer service skills YMCA Fitness Leadership Certification YMCA Leadership in Group, Individual Conditioning (IC 1 and 2), Aquatic Trainers, Personal Trainer (or other recognized certifications) Computer skills including Microsoft Word & Excel, & Outlook Current First Aid and CPR Current and acceptable Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is a condition of employment for all staff and volunteers It is a YMCA of Southwestern Ontario requirement that all employees and volunteers be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Exemptions will be granted upon receipt of acceptable proof of a permissible Human Rights Code ground. This requirement has been suspended effective June 30, 2022. It may be reinstated in future should the state of public health in our communities require it.
