The posting

We're looking for a versatile, impact-driven Generalist to join our fast-growing team at Waterlily. This is a high-ownership, high-growth opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and wants to build novel best practices in sales, ops, content, and systems.

You'll be our Swiss-Army knife, jumping from coordinating executive ops one hour, to writing crisp marketing copy the next, to running lightweight outbound campaigns after that. If you've got grit, brains, and range, we'll give you the tools, mentorship, and mission to grow into a startup operator that any company would fight to hire.

We don't care about fancy job titles. We care about people who get important things done fast, even when no one has drawn the map yet.

Location: Remote (Strong preference for teammates in the Philippines, Vietnam, or UTC-3 to UTC+8 Latin-America for easy overlap with U.S. Pacific hours)

About Us

Waterlily uses AI to help families prepare for the largest financial and medical event in their lives, long-term care (LTC). Through comprehensive care planning and optimization, Waterlily is bending Americas multi-trillion dollar LTC cost curve.

Our Team & Culture

We've built a high-performance team culture based on three core principles:

Mission-Driven Excellence

  • We're deeply committed to transforming how families prepare for long-term care
  • Every team member genuinely believes in our mission and understands its importance
  • We prioritize work that drives meaningful impact for our customers and company

Be a Potato: Growth & Resilience

  • We embrace challenges and adapt quickly like potatoes that grow under any circumstances
  • We make decisions swiftly while remaining thoughtful and open to iteration
  • We focus on execution and results rather than just effort
  • We value team members who show unlimited potential for growth and understanding

Radical Transparency & Support

  • We practice direct, honest communication while maintaining empathy and respect
  • Feedback flows freely in all directions from intern to leadership and back
  • We begin meetings with brief check-ins to understand each other's context
  • We create safe spaces for vulnerability and authentic collaboration
  • We maintain high standards while supporting each other's growth and wellbeing

Our Founding Team

You'll be working closely with our founding team:

Lily Vittayarukskul, CEO Patented inventor. Started college at 14, worked at NASA by 16, and led product and engineering at IoT medical startups before founding Waterlily.

Evan Ehrenberg, COO Forbes 30 Under 30. Started college at 11, attended UC Berkeley and MIT, and later founded and sold a clinical trials SaaS platform before joining Waterlily.

Tim Chung, Founding Engineer & Data Scientist Holds a Masters in Computer Science from UPenn and is completing a Data Science Masters at Georgia Tech. Background in machine learning, full-stack engineering, and startup teams.

How We Work

  • We optimize for remote-first collaboration while maintaining high productivity
  • We emphasize contextual decision-making and practical solutions
  • We prioritize deep work and focused execution over unnecessary meetings
  • We consistently validate that we're working on the highest-impact initiatives
  • We maintain a healthy, growth-oriented mindset while pushing for exceptional results

About You

We're still under 30 people. Every new teammate moves the needle. You'll be our Swiss-Army knife, jumping from executive assistant work to sales outreach to polishing product-launch copy. Your superpower: getting important things done fast, even without a roadmap.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

The numbers game

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
