The posting

What you will do on your journey with WebBeds.

As a Destination Business Development Manager, you will identify, develop and secure destination marketing opportunities with tourist boards, destination marketing organisations (DMOs) and destination partners, creating new revenue streams and strengthening strategic relationships for WebBeds. You will shape tailored proposals, negotiate campaign agreements and coordinate delivery across teams and regions.

This role suits someone with an established network across DMOs, strong commercial acumen and confidence in proposal writing. Using data and insight, you will shape campaign recommendations, demonstrate value to partners and support future revenue growth.

In this role you will:

Key responsibilities

  • Destination partnership development: Identify, develop, and secure destination marketing opportunities with tourist boards, DMOs, and destination partners to drive new revenue streams and strengthen strategic relationships.
  • Commercial proposal development: Create tailored destination marketing proposals that align partner objectives with WebBeds’ marketing capabilities, including campaign concepts, deliverables, timelines, pricing, and expected outcomes.
  • Revenue generation: Develop commercially viable marketing programmes that maximise partner investment while supporting WebBeds' growth objectives and revenue targets.
  • Partner relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with destination partners, tourism boards, agencies, and key stakeholders to encourage long-term collaboration and repeat investment.
  • Commercial negotiation: Negotiate campaign agreements and marketing packages, ensuring alignment between partner objectives, commercial value, and operational delivery requirements.
  • Campaign coordination: Collaborate with marketing, commercial, and regional teams to plan and deliver destination marketing campaigns across WebBeds channels, ensuring seamless execution and partner satisfaction.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across multiple regions to align campaign objectives, manage approvals, and support the successful delivery of destination initiatives.
  • Project management: Manage campaign timelines, stakeholder communications, deliverables, approvals, and reporting from proposal stage through to campaign completion.
  • Performance analysis and reporting: Leverage campaign, commercial, and market data to measure results, demonstrate value to partners, and identify opportunities for optimisation and future growth.
  • Market insight and recommendation: Use data, industry trends, and commercial insights to develop informed recommendations that enhance campaign performance and partner outcomes.
  • Process improvement: Develop and implement best practices, templates, reporting frameworks, and operational processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across destination marketing activities.
  • Industry networking: Maintain awareness of market developments, destination priorities, and industry trends to identify new partnership opportunities and strengthen WebBeds’ market position.

The skills we would love to see in your suitcase!

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in destination marketing, partnership marketing, business development, travel marketing, or a related commercial role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Tourism, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience developing commercial marketing proposals, partnership programmes, and revenue-generating campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of destination marketing, tourism promotion, travel distribution, and partner marketing strategies.
  • Experience using CRM systems, business intelligence tools, marketing analytics platforms, and performance reporting solutions.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, including knowledge of pricing, revenue generation, return on investment, and partner value creation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and insights into commercial recommendations and growth opportunities.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing, presentation development, and commercial storytelling.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple partner initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of objectives, and collaborate effectively across international teams.
  • Fluent English required.
  • Established relationships with tourist boards, destination marketing organisations, and destination marketing partners are highly desirable.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
