The posting

This role is for one of Weekday’s clients

Min Experience: 1+ years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time

We are looking for a driven and analytical Associate Product Manager to help build and scale innovative B2B SaaS products. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams to identify customer needs, define product requirements, and deliver impactful solutions. You will contribute to the product lifecycle, from discovery and prioritization to launch and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Roadmap and Execution: Own and manage the roadmap for one or more product modules, supporting the entire product lifecycle from discovery and planning to launch and iteration.
  • Product Documentation: Create clear and detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria to help engineering teams understand and execute product requirements.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with sales and customer success teams to understand customer pain points, identify sales pipeline blockers, address retention risks, and translate business needs into product improvements.
  • Metrics and Performance Tracking: Define, monitor, and analyze key product metrics, including north-star metrics and leading indicators, to evaluate product performance and guide decision-making.
  • Agile Product Delivery: Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, prioritization discussions, and cross-functional meetings to ensure effective execution and alignment.
  • Market and Competitor Research: Analyze competitor offerings, industry developments, and emerging market trends to identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation.
  • User Experience and Design: Collaborate with product designers to create intuitive workflows, improve usability, and address user needs, edge cases, and product experience gaps.
  • Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from internal stakeholders and customers, identify product gaps, and support iterative enhancements based on evidence and business impact.

Must-Have Skills

  • Product Management: Understanding of product discovery, requirement gathering, roadmap planning, prioritization, and product execution.
  • Written Communication: Ability to write structured, concise, and persuasive PRDs, product documentation, user stories, and strategy documents.
  • Verbal Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Structured Thinking: Ability to break down ambiguous problems, evaluate alternatives, challenge assumptions, and make evidence-based decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience or exposure to B2B SaaS products, enterprise software, or technology-driven business models.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and product development workflows.
  • Understanding of product analytics, customer feedback mechanisms, and competitor research.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 1–4 years of experience in product management or a related role.
  • Bachelor's degree from a Tier 1 institution, such as IIT, BITS, or an equivalent institution.
  • Prior experience in a B2B SaaS environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, communicate effectively, and collaborate across teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • First-Principles Thinker: Questions assumptions, identifies root causes, and seeks evidence before forming conclusions.
  • Comfortable with Ambiguity: Can navigate evolving requirements and make thoughtful decisions with incomplete information.
  • Customer-Focused: Understands customer needs and translates them into practical, high-impact product solutions.
  • Technically Collaborative: Can communicate effectively with engineers and bridge the gap between business objectives and technical implementation.
  • Clear Communicator: Produces well-structured documentation and communicates ideas with clarity and conviction.
  • Growth-Oriented: Actively seeks feedback, learns quickly, and continuously improves their approach.
  • Collaborative and Transparent: Values teamwork, maintains a low-ego mindset, and prioritizes shared outcomes over working in silos.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
