As a Guidewire Integration Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Guidewire InsuranceSuite and external systems using REST APIs, leveraging your expertise in Gosu programming. You will collaborate closely with business analysts and solution architects to translate business requirements into robust integration solutions, ensuring optimal performance and high data integrity across cloud-based environments. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting complex integration issues, optimizing data flows, and implementing security and governance best practices within the Guidewire Cloud ecosystem. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing and refining integration patterns, documenting solutions, and mentoring junior team members to uphold industry standards and accelerate delivery timelines.

Requirements

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Design, develop, and deploy RESTful services for integration with Guidewire modules such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter using Gosu.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to capture functional requirements and map them to integration solutions.

• Implement security controls, authentication, and authorization mechanisms for exchange of data between Guidewire and external systems.

• Perform integration testing (unit, functional, performance) and provide detailed test artifacts and reports.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to data flow, latency, and data integrity, using logs, monitoring, and diagnostics.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive integration documentation including architecture diagrams, data mapping specifications, and deployment guides.

• Integrate Guidewire Cloud services with third‑party applications using webhooks, message queues, and event-driven patterns.

• Optimize performance by tuning batch jobs, API calls, and data synchronization processes.

• Participate in code reviews, contribute to coding standards, and ensure adherence to Agile best practices.

• Participate in on‑call rotation for critical incident resolution and support post‑go‑live monitoring.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝘁

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite and Gosu programming.

• Strong knowledge of REST API design, implementation, and security best practices.

• Proven experience integrating Guidewire with external systems using middleware or cloud services.

• Deep understanding of Guidewire Cloud architecture, deployment models, and management console.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and identify root causes quickly.

• Demonstrated ability to produce clean, well‑documented code following coding standards.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments and continuous integration pipelines.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for cross‑functional collaboration.

• Familiarity with data mapping, transformation logic, and enterprise data governance.

• Strong passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with Guidewire ecosystem trends.
