We are looking for a finance professional to join our team as an Investor Relations and Business MIS specialist. This role will play a critical part in supporting the organization's fundraising activities, investor communications, financial planning, and management reporting as the business continues to expand across India's clean energy sector.

The organization expects to raise capital from multiple investor categories through various equity and debt instruments, with a long-term ambition of pursuing an IPO and potentially expanding into international markets. The selected candidate will work closely with the CFO, Corporate Finance Head, and Founder to manage investor relationships, prepare financial reports, develop business projections, and support fundraising and due diligence processes.

As a key representative of the organization to external investors and lenders, the ideal candidate should combine strong financial modeling and analytical skills with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering capabilities. This role also offers an opportunity to grow into a leadership position heading the Investor Relations function.

3. Equity Fundraising Support

  • Prepare and maintain financial documentation, data room materials, information memorandum inputs, and due diligence responses.
  • Support the CFO in addressing financial and business queries from venture capital funds, private equity investors, family offices, sovereign funds, and other potential investors.
  • Track fundraising milestones, investor pipelines, follow-ups, and outstanding action items.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely availability of financial data and supporting documents.

  • Conduct monthly variance analysis comparing actual performance against budgets and forecasts, with clear explanations of key deviations.
  • Work closely with operations and business heads to collect financial and operational inputs and validate assumptions.
  • Analyze business performance, cost structures, cash flows, and profitability to support management decision-making.
  • Provide actionable financial insights to improve planning accuracy and operational efficiency.

7. MIS Systems, Data Integrity, and Process Improvement

  • Standardize data collection and reporting processes across multiple locations, including biomass banks, warehouses, and rural operating partners.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across financial and operational reporting.
  • Automate recurring reports and streamline workflows to reduce manual effort and reporting turnaround time.
  • Establish robust reporting processes that support business growth, investor requirements, and future public-market readiness.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
