We are looking for a skilled IT Administrator with strong expertise in Windows Server administration, Wintel infrastructure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, endpoint security, networking, and IT infrastructure management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimising enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring system availability, network reliability, endpoint protection, and seamless IT operations. The role requires hands-on experience in managing Windows environments, Microsoft technologies, firewalls, cloud platforms, storage, backup, virtualisation, and security compliance.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. Windows Server and Active Directory Administration

  • Manage and maintain Windows Server and Wintel infrastructure.
  • Administer Active Directory, including forest, domain, and user management.
  • Configure and maintain DNS, DHCP, DFS, WSUS, PKI, IAS/NPS, and File and Print Services.
  • Ensure server availability, performance, security, and routine maintenance.

2. Microsoft Technologies Management

  • Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Manage Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Defender Suite, and Microsoft Purview.
  • Configure and manage Windows Autopilot and endpoint deployment processes.
  • Use PowerShell for automation, administration, and routine IT operations.

3. Endpoint Security Management

  • Manage endpoint protection using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Sophos Endpoint Security, and McAfee ePO.
  • Implement and monitor EDR, XDR, endpoint compliance, and device control policies.
  • Configure Attack Surface Reduction (ASR) rules, BitLocker, application control, and endpoint hardening.
  • Conduct vulnerability management and ensure endpoint security standards are maintained.

4. Networking, Firewall, and VPN Management

  • Manage enterprise network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VTP, STP, RSTP, and EtherChannel.
  • Support MPLS, SD-WAN, NAT, wireless networks, and routing protocols.
  • Configure and manage Sophos Firewall, SSL VPN, IPSec VPN, and Site-to-Site VPN.
  • Monitor and maintain IPS, IDS, web filtering, and application control policies.

5. Cloud, Storage, and Backup Administration

  • Support cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Manage NAS, SAN, RAID, backup, and recovery operations.
  • Implement and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) processes.
  • Ensure data availability, backup integrity, and recovery readiness.

6. Virtualisation and Infrastructure Monitoring

  • Administer virtualisation platforms, including VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance using PRTG, ManageEngine OpManager, Action1, Altris, and Azure Monitor.
  • Manage patch deployment, system updates, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Identify and resolve infrastructure issues to minimise operational downtime.

7. Security and Compliance

  • Support Data Loss Prevention (DLP), email security gateways, and information security initiatives.
  • Conduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) coordination and security hardening.
  • Assist with risk management, security assessments, audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure IT systems follow established security policies and operational standards.
