We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Finance Professional with 10–25 years of experience in finance, financial management, and business strategy. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, analytical capabilities, and leadership skills to oversee financial operations, drive business performance, and support strategic decision-making. This role requires a thorough understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial stability, optimize resource allocation, improve profitability, and support the organization's long-term business objectives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business goals and improve financial performance.
  • Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow management, working capital optimization, expense control, and financial resource allocation.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and rolling forecasts to monitor business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strategic Decision-Making: Partner with senior management to provide financial insights, evaluate business opportunities, assess investments, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Identify financial risks, establish appropriate internal controls, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze operating costs, identify inefficiencies, and implement strategies to improve cost control, margins, and overall profitability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with auditors, banks, financial institutions, investors, consultants, and other external stakeholders as required.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams, establish performance objectives, and promote accuracy, accountability, and operational efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Strengthen financial systems, reporting mechanisms, and internal processes to enhance transparency, productivity, and governance.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong expertise in finance and financial management.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and cash flow management.
  • Understanding of accounting principles, taxation, audit processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in financial risk assessment, cost optimization, and internal controls.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable business insights.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience: 10–25 years of relevant experience in finance, financial management, or related functions.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance will be an advantage, depending on the role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing financial operations, preparing financial reports, and supporting strategic business decisions.
  • Experience working with financial management software, ERP platforms, and advanced spreadsheet tools is preferred.
