Om afdelingen

Weibels R&D-team består af ca. 80 medarbejdere, ligeligt fordelt mellem software og hardware. Softwareafdelingen rummer omkring 40 personer opdelt i 4 teams, hvoraf tre hold er baseret i Danmark og et i Oslo. Afdelingen er kendetegnet ved en åben dialog og hjælpsomhed samt en stor passion, der driver et miljø, hvor der altid ydes en ekstra indsats. Som led i vores konstante fokus på innovation og udvikling, søger vi nu en R&D Software Director til at spille en nøglerolle i vores ambitiøse vækstplaner.

Om stillingen og ansvarsområder

Som R&D Software Director vil du stå i spidsen for vores erfarne softwareafdeling. Din kerneopgave bliver at drive en kontinuerlig forandringsproces i R&D. Du bliver en medskaber og nøglespiller i en hurtig forandringsproces med målet om at opnå en højtydende softwareafdeling. Din overordnede ansvar vil omfatte ledelsesudvikling af nuværende Engineering Managers og rekruttering af den næste generation af softwareudviklere og -ledere. Du vil spille en nøglerolle i at sætte mål og øge output samt evnen til at levere på komplekse projekter, herunder definition af roller og ansvar inden for softwareudvikling.

Dine hovedopgaver vil inkludere

  • Ledelse, udvikling og motivation af Softwareudviklingsteamsene til en sammenhængende og effektiv del af Weibel R&D.
  • Leverance på softwarepipeline i henhold til køreplan og kontraktmæssige krav i tæt samarbejde med hardwareudvikling.
  • Opbygning og udvikling af processer og procedurer for at sikre rettidig levering af kvalitetsfunktionalitet.
  • Rationalisering af softwarepakken, der anvendes i udviklingsprocessen.
  • Øge vidensdeling for at mindske afhængighed af nøglepersoner.
  • Ledelse af integrations- og testfasen i Weibel Test Center frem mod softwareudrulning til støtte for FAT/SAT.
