Wir suchen eine/n: (Senior) Klinische Kodierfachkraft (m/w/d)

Vollzeit oder Teilzeit

Als (Senior) Klinische Kodierfachkraft (m/w/d) bist Du Ansprechperson für Fragen rund um Kodierung. Du bringst Deine Erfahrung ein, entwickelst Prozesse weiter und hast die Möglichkeit, Dein Wissen im Team weiterzugeben. Du siehst nicht nur den einzelnen Fall, sondern auch das Potenzial dahinter: Mit einem ausgeprägten Blick fürs Detail, fachlicher Neugier und Kommunikationsstärke setzt Du Impulse für eine noch bessere Dokumentations- und Kodierqualität.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Eigenständige und fallbegleitende Kodierung von Diagnosen und Prozeduren nach ICD-10-GM und OPS
  • Sicherstellung einer qualitativ hochwertigen und vollständigen medizinischen Dokumentation
  • Prüfung und Optimierung der Kodierqualität sowie Identifikation von Verbesserungspotenzialen
  • Fachliche Unterstützung und Beratung von Ärzten und Pflege hinsichtlich Kodierung und Dokumentation
  • Bearbeitung und Begleitung von MD-Anfragen
  • Analyse von Kodier- und Dokumentationsprozessen sowie Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Optimierungsmaßnahmen
  • Erstellung und Weiterentwicklung von Kodierhilfen, Standards und Schulungskonzepten
  • Ansprechpartner/in für interne und externe Fragen rund um Kodierung, DRG und Dokumentation

Dein Profil

  • Abgeschlossene medizinische oder pflegerische Ausbildung (z. B. Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger/in, Medizinische/r Fachangestellte/r, Medizinische/r Dokumentationsassistent/in) oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
  • Zusatzqualifikation als Klinische Kodierfachkraft oder entsprechende Weiterbildung wünschenswert
  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung als klinische Kodierfachkraft / Kodierfachkraft im Krankenhaus
  • Fundierte und sichere Kenntnisse in ICD-10-GM, OPS, DKR und G-DRG
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse der medizinischen Dokumentation und der Anforderungen des Medizinischen Dienstes
  • Erfahrung in der eigenständigen Bearbeitung komplexer Fälle
  • Sicheres Auftreten und die Fähigkeit, medizinische und wirtschaftliche Aspekte miteinander zu verbinden
  • Erfahrung in der Prozessoptimierung, Qualitätssicherung oder fachlichen Anleitung wünschenswert
  • Selbstständige, strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
  • Lust, einen Bereich aktiv mitzugestalten
