THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Senior Strategy Manager - AI & Operations to our Wellz team in São Paulo!

Wellz by Wellhub is our corporate mental health platform, delivering measurable, science-backed results for companies and their employees. By combining technology with human expertise, Wellz offers personalized journeys including online therapy, group sessions, interactive content, and 24/7 specialist chat support. Through data-driven insights and strategic dashboards, we also empower HR leaders to monitor wellbeing, boost engagement, and demonstrate ROI, making quality mental health support accessible and scalable.

In this role, you will lead how Wellz rebuilds its own operations around AI from the ground up. This is not an AI-evangelist or data-infrastructure role. Wellz's leadership recently asked a blunt question: if we restarted Wellz today with AI as a given, which workflows would we actually build? You will own the answer, function by function—redesigning how teams run their core motions with AI agents doing the work by default, and humans stepping in only for judgment, negotiation, or clinical/legal exceptions.

Reporting directly to Wellz's Head of Strategy & Operations, you will also represent Wellz inside Wellhub's company-wide AI direction, translating corporate mandate into ground-level execution. You will be building the playbook, not inheriting one, as Wellz actively expands across multiple markets including Europe.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Workflow Refounding: Pick the next Wellz workflows to rebuild around AI (following the default-agent model) and define ownership, success metrics, and kill or graduation criteria for each.
  • AI Program Ownership: Own Wellz's side of Wellhub's company-wide AI transformation program, translating corporate direction into actionable plans and reporting progress up to executive leadership.
  • Adoption & Behavior Change: Drive hands-on operational adoption with target teams to build trust and ensure teams actually run on AI workflows, rather than keeping them as slide designs.
  • Build vs. Buy Judgment: Evaluate and decide whether to build in-house solutions or adopt external vendor tools, defending decisions with rigorous data and clear ROI.
  • Executive Narrative: Own the communications layer for Wellz and Wellhub C-levels, articulating what is live, what is in pilot, and what was sunsetted and why.
  • Live the mission: inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. Bring wellbeing to the forefront of work, and create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable taking care of themselves, taking time off, and finding work-life wellness.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Based in São Paulo — hybrid model.
  • Proven track record of actually shipping an AI agent or workflow into production (not just prototypes), with technical comfort in tooling to test and iterate independently.
  • Ability to identify true operational bottlenecks (cycle time, conversion, volume) and prioritize workflow rebuilds based on evidence rather than novelty.
  • Strong bias to action, high tolerance for iterating in public, and the comfort to rework solutions rapidly based on real-world feedback.
  • Ability to build trust and drive operational change across Revenue, Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Clinical Ops, and Transformation without direct line hierarchy.
  • Ability to thrive without a fixed scope in a fast-evolving environment where priorities adapt as the AI-native operating model matures.
  • Mandatory requirement to interface with Wellhub's global AI leadership.
