Job Title: Advanced Practice Professional – Cardiology

Location: Gettysburg, PA

Employment Type: Full-Time

What You’ll Champion:

  • Join a well-established outpatient cardiology practice in Gettysburg providing comprehensive care to adult patients.
  • Opportunity for either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, with new graduates encouraged to apply. Extensive onboarding and training are available, with orientation tailored to the candidate's experience level.
  • Enjoy an excellent work-life balance with a 4-day work week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) and no call responsibilities.
  • Practice a broad scope of general cardiology.
  • Collaborative team environment alongside three cardiologists and four advanced practice providers, offering strong physician support and mentorship.
  • Manage a reasonable patient volume of approximately 16-18 patients per day, with 30-minute appointment slots that promote quality patient care.
  • Structured schedule featuring 35 patient-facing clinic hours and 5 administrative hours each week for inbox management and care coordination.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
  • Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
  • Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Work Experience:

  • 1 year Required

Licenses:

  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
  • Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
  • Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
  • Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
