Job Title: Advanced Practice Professional – Hematology/Oncology

Location: Waynesboro, PA

Employment Type: Part-Time

What You’ll Champion:

  • Join a brand-new Hematology/Oncology practice opening in Waynesboro, offering the unique opportunity to help establish and grow a new service line from the ground up.
  • Practice with a high degree of autonomy while working alongside an experienced Hematology/Oncology physician in a collaborative, supportive environment. The APP will play an integral role in patient management and clinic operations.
  • Varied outpatient oncology and hematology responsibilities, including follow-up visits, hematology patient care, treatment preparation visits, triage, and oral chemotherapy education.
  • Comprehensive onboarding and mentorship program, including structured education, shadowing opportunities, and a gradual ramp-up designed to support success in the specialty.
  • Excellent work-life balance with a part-time schedule working Wednesday through Friday and no call responsibilities currently required.
  • Manageable patient volumes, averaging approximately nine patients per day, allowing providers to deliver personalized, high-quality care to adult patients.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
  • Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
  • Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Work Experience:

  • 1 year Required

Licenses:

  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
  • Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
  • Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
  • Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
