Part Time Adult Caregiver – Plano, TX

An adult couple in Plano, TX 75023 is seeking compassionate, reliable home help to assist with meal preparation, basic household tasks, and transportation. This is a supportive non-medical role providing essential day-to-day assistance to help the household run smoothly. The home is smoke-free and includes two small, elderly dogs.

Schedule:

  • Flexible schedule : 2 days per week - 3 hrs per day
  • Schedule Details: As soon as possible start date; care needed over the next few months

Family Specifications:

  • Environment: Smoke-free household
  • Pets: Two small, elderly dogs in the home
  • Household Values: The family appreciates a caregiver who enjoys cooking and taking pride in basic household support

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to family and dietary preferences, with a focus on home cooking
  • Assisting with daily light housekeeping and maintaining a tidy living space
  • Providing rides for errands, appointments, or general household needs
  • Dog walking
  • Cleaning & laundry
  • Organization and moving items around the house for accessibility

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in non-medical home caregiving or household management
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for transportation duties
  • Comfort working in a home with small, elderly pets

Preferred:

  • Interest or skills in cooking and meal preparation

Compensation:

  • 15–20 per hour
