The posting

Part Time Nanny (French or Chinese Speaking Preferred) – Sunnyvale, CA

A welcoming, multilingual family in Sunnyvale, CA is looking for an energetic and nurturing part-time nanny to assist with caring for their three young children (ages 5, 3, and 7 months) in a smoke-free, pet-free home. The primary goal is to provide attentive childcare support to help ease the parents' busy schedules and ensure the children enjoy engaging, structured days.

Schedule:

  • 3 days per week (flexible days, open to weekdays or weekends)
  • 4 hours per day (12 hours/week; preference for afternoons, but flexible for mornings)
  • Start Date: As soon as possible

Family Specifications:

  • Smoke-free household
  • Pet-free home
  • Multilingual home environment (family speaks French and Chinese)
  • Values interactive play, learning, reading, and creative projects

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive care and supervision for three children (infant, toddler, and preschooler)
  • Plan and prepare healthy meals and snacks, including bottle feeding and mealtime assistance
  • Perform diaper changes and support ongoing potty training
  • Engage children in fun, educational activities, games, reading, and arts and crafts
  • Help with light housekeeping related to the children, such as child laundry and tidying play areas
  • Assist with running light errands as needed

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience caring for infants, toddlers, and young children simultaneously

Preferred:

  • Fluency or proficiency in French or Chinese

Compensation:

  • $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
