About the Opportunity

Wellways, in partnership with APMHA Healthcare and GV Health, is working together across Greater Shepparton, Strathbogie, and Moira to strengthen mental health and wellbeing support across the region. Together, we're aiming to offer services that meet the unique needs of individuals in our community, whenever and wherever they are needed. Lived experience, inclusivity, and genuine collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.

As an AOD Wellbeing Navigator Peer, you’ll draw on your own lived experience of substance use or addiction, recovery, service use and personal growth to build mutual and respectful relationships with participants. This is a unique opportunity that exists with the goal of making sure everyone in our community is supported, included, and empowered.

Key elements of your new role will include:

  • Provide intentional, strengths-based peer support, including AOD peer support
  • Offer one-on-one support and care planning
  • Facilitate group peer sessions to build connection and confidence
  • Supporting people to recognise and build on their own strengths, knowledge and capacity
  • Supporting engagement and self-advocacy with clinical services
  • Building strong relationships with local AOD and other community support services

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
