Position Summary:
Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Integrated Advising Collaborative (IAC) Student Success Advisors (SSAs) are key members of a coordinated, student-centered advising team. SSAs partner closely with Co-op & Career Advisors (CCAs) and Faculty Advisors (FAs) to provide proactive, holistic support that connects academic planning, personal development, and career readiness throughout the student lifecycle.
Student Success Advisors serve as the primary point of contact for academic planning and progression, helping students develop clear, achievable pathways to graduation. Through a developmental advising philosophy, SSAs empower students to make informed decisions, build self-advocacy skills, and connect their academic experience to long-term goals.
As part of the IAC model, Student Success Advisors contribute to a shared advising structure that ensures coordinated communication, timely interventions, and a seamless student experience from matriculation through graduation.

Position Details:
At this time, the university is unable to sponsor applicants for H-1B visas.
This is an in-person position with core hours of 8:30 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Specific hours and remote work must be approved by your supervisor. Occasional weekend hours may be required for Success Studio, advising, or university events.
The job grade for this position is Grade 5.
The expected wage range for this position is between $58,000 and $70,000 which reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role.
