Ben jij een ervaren financial met een passie voor rapportages, IFRS en leiderschap? Voor een vooraanstaande organisatie in de financiële sector in Suriname zoeken wij een Manager Accounting & Reporting. In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor betrouwbare financiële verslaglegging en geef je leiding aan een groeiend team van professionals. Een unieke kans voor een RA of finance-expert die klaar is voor de volgende stap in de carrière.

Wat ga je doen als Manager Accounting & Reporting?

Als Manager Accounting & Reporting stuur je het accountingteam aan en ben je verantwoordelijk voor tijdige, betrouwbare en conforme financiële rapportages voor de organisatie en haar dochtermaatschappijen. Je zorgt voor een effectieve inrichting van processen, compliance met wet- en regelgeving, en draagt bij aan strategische verbeteringen binnen finance.

Taken:

• Leidinggeven aan het accountingteam en aansturen van dagelijkse financiële processen

• Opstellen van tijdige en betrouwbare (geconsolideerde) maand-, kwartaal- en jaarrapportages

• Verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen van de jaarrekeningen volgens IFRS (waaronder IFRS 17)

• Analyseren van financiële data en verzorgen van managementrapportages

• Coördineren en uitvoeren van interne controles en technische afstemmingen (technical accounting)

• Optimaliseren van accountingprocessen en implementeren van automatiseringsoplossingen

• Zorgen voor compliance met relevante wet- en regelgeving en de eisen van de lokale toezichthouder, in samenwerking met de Compliance-afdeling en interne/externe auditors

• Voorbereiden en begeleiden van interne en externe audits

• Onderhouden van contact met externe accountants en het voeren van inhoudelijke discussies

• Leveren van ondersteuning aan dochtermaatschappijen bij accounting en financiële vraagstukken

• Begeleiden van performance management binnen het team (plannings-, beoordelings- en functioneringsgesprekken)

• Variabele beloning tot maximaal 4,5 maandsalarissen, afhankelijk van jouw performance én die van het bedrijf

Bij wie ga je werken?

Je gaat aan de slag bij een internationale organisatie in de financiële sector, gevestigd in Paramaribo, Suriname. • Een afgeronde RA-opleiding of vergelijkbaar academisch niveau

• Minimaal 7 jaar relevante ervaring in accounting en reporting

• Diepgaande kennis van IFRS en ervaring met IFRS 17

• Ervaring met consolidaties binnen groepsstructuren

• Kennis van hyperinflatie-accounting en relevante belastingwetgeving

• Bekend met groepsaccountantscontroles en auditprocessen

• Leidinggevende kwaliteiten en ervaring in teamontwikkeling

• Strategisch inzicht en een hands-on mentaliteit

• Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en proactieve werkhouding

• Fulltime beschikbaarheid en bereidheid om in Paramaribo te werken
