Ben jij een ervaren expediteur die importdossiers van begin tot einde beheert en de klant altijd een stap voor is? Werk je graag met rederijen, douane en klanten tegelijk en hou je ook op drukke dagen het overzicht? Dan hebben we een functie voor jou.

Voor een internationale speler in freight forwarding en maritieme logistiek zoeken we een Expediteur Import Zeevracht die zelfstandig importdossiers organiseert en opvolgt. Jij kiest de juiste transportoplossing, bewaakt de prijs en zorgt ervoor dat elke zending vlot en correct bij de klant aankomt. Van de boeking bij de rederij tot de douane-instructies en de facturatie: het dossier is in jouw handen.

Je komt terecht in een klein en hecht team waar collega’s voor elkaar klaarstaan en waar jouw kennis van shipping, douane en supply chain echt gewaardeerd wordt. Daar staan een sterk loonpakket, thuiswerk en ruime opleidingskansen tegenover.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je beheert importdossiers zeevracht volledig zelfstandig, van de eerste aanvraag tot de afsluiting
  • Je zoekt per zending de meest geschikte transportmodus en bewaakt daarbij een correcte en concurrentiële prijs
  • Je plaatst transportopdrachten en onderhoudt dagelijks contact met rederijen en transportpartners
  • Je werkt dossiers af binnen de afgesproken timing en houdt de closings nauwlettend in de gaten
  • Je bezorgt duidelijke instructies aan de douaneafdeling, zodat elke import vlot wordt ingeklaard
  • Je houdt je klanten tijdig en correct op de hoogte van de status van hun zendingen
  • Je denkt mee met de klant en geeft advies over transport, documenten en importprocedures
  • Je verzorgt de facturatie van je eigen dossiers en zorgt dat alles volledig en correct is afgerond
  • Een bachelordiploma in logistiek of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Bij voorkeur minstens 5 jaar ervaring in maritieme expeditie, freight forwarding of import operations, of een bachelordiploma logistiek management
  • Basiskennis van douanewetgeving en de bijhorende importdocumenten
  • Goede kennis van Incoterms en vertrouwdheid met bankgerelateerde zaken zoals kredietbrieven (LC)
  • Sterk administratief en vlot met ERP-systemen en andere logistieke software
  • Nauwkeurig en gedisciplineerd, je weet dat correcte gegevens en documenten het verschil maken
  • Gedreven, klantgericht en communicatief sterk
  • Vlotte kennis van Nederlands en Engels, basiskennis Frans is vereist en Duits is een mooie troef
