Wil je werken in een sector waar elke zending een deadline heeft en geen enkele dag hetzelfde is? Ben je net afgestudeerd of heb je al een eerste ervaring in logistiek, en wil je ontdekken hoe luchtvracht en freight forwarding echt werken? Dan is dit jouw kans. Voor de afdeling Air Export van onze klant, een internationale logistieke speler actief in forwarding, contract logistics, wegtransport en supply chain, zoeken we een Junior Expediteur Luchtvracht Export op Brucargo.

Je start met twee telewerkdagen per week, dus je combineert een boeiende job op de luchthaven met de flexibiliteit om ook vanuit huis te werken. Dit is een echte startersfunctie waarin je niet alles al hoeft te kennen. Ervaren collega’s nemen je mee in het vak en leren je hoe een exportdossier van boeking tot vertrek verloopt. Ondertussen bouw je kennis op over luchtvracht, exportdocumenten en douaneprocedures, en heb je dagelijks contact met klanten, airlines en agenten over de hele wereld. Een sterkere start van je carrière in supply chain en logistiek vind je moeilijk.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je volgt luchtvrachtzendingen voor export mee op, van boeking tot vertrek
  • Je opent en verwerkt dossiers en boekingen samen met het team
  • Je bent een vast aanspreekpunt voor klanten, leveranciers, airlines en overzeese agenten
  • Je bereidt exportdocumenten voor en controleert ze op juistheid
  • Je helpt bij de opmaak en opvolging van douanedocumenten
  • Je bewaakt mee deadlines, cut-off tijden en afspraken met klanten
  • Je zorgt dat de gegevens in de systemen altijd correct en up-to-date zijn
  • Je werkt nauw samen met collega’s van sales, customs, operations en finance
  • Een bachelor in logistiek, supply chain management of een gelijkwaardig niveau door ervaring
  • Een eerste ervaring in expeditie, transport of luchtvracht is mooi meegenomen, maar zeker geen vereiste
  • Interesse in internationale handel, douane en luchtvrachtprocessen
  • Een goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels, Frans is een extra troef
  • Je werkt vlot met MS Office. Ervaring met CargoWise of Iris is een plus
  • Je bent leergierig, nauwkeurig en communicatief sterk
  • Je denkt klantgericht, werkt gestructureerd en blijft rustig wanneer deadlines dichterbij
