Westbay Solutions söker nu en driven ingenjör för att designa och leda spännande produktutvecklingsprojekt till framgång, inom affärsområdet Defense & Government.

Som Lead Design Engineer hos Westbay Solutions kommer du att spela en central roll i att planera, organisera och genomföra våra tekniska projekt från start till mål. Du kommer att arbeta nära våra teammedlemmar och underleverantörer för att leverera högkvalitativa lösningar till våra kunder.

Vi söker en driven individ med erfarenhet av mekaniskt konstruktionsarbete, starka kommunikationsförmågor och förmåga att hantera och planera projekt. Vi ser gärna att du brinner för teknik, har ett öga för detaljer och trivs i en snabbrörlig miljö. Du behöver kunna arbeta effektivt både självständigt och i team. Tjänsten kräver att du hanterar svenska och engelska i tal och skrift.

Du förväntas ha:

  1. Goda kunskaper inom mekanisk konstruktion
  2. Goda kunskaper inom Autodesk Inventor eller liknande CAD-program
  3. Arbetslivserfarenhet inom relevant område
  4. Ingenjörsutbildning inom maskinteknik eller likvärdig utbildning/erfarenhet

Meriterande färdigheter:

  1. Erfarenhet av att leda ett designteam
  2. Erfarenhet inom Vault eller andra PDM-system
  3. Erfarenhet av att hantera/leda projekt från koncept till implementering

Utöver kraven och meriterna lägger vi stor vikt vid personliga egenskaper. Vi söker dig som har en mycket god samarbetsförmåga och problemlösningsförmåga, en hög kapacitet att ta initiativ och ansvar, och som är trygg i att arbeta självständigt. Vidare behöver du vara utvecklingsinriktad och tycka om att lära dig nya saker, då jobbet är varierande och organisationen växande vilket gör att dina arbetsuppgifter kan komma att utvecklas med tiden.

Denna tjänst är placerad på Westbay Solutions anläggning i Västervik. Distansarbete erbjuds ej, även om arbetsgivaren kan vara flexibel i ett inledande skede för den som flyttar från annan ort. Tjänsten är på heltid, tillsvidareanställning som inleds med provanställning, med tillträde så snart som möjligt efter överenskommelse.
