What you'll do:

As a Senior FP&A Analyst supporting the Information Technology organization, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to IT leadership, providing financial analysis and insights that support technology investment decisions and operational performance. This role is responsible for the budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis of IT expenses, including employee and contractor headcount, software licensing, cloud infrastructure, hardware, telecommunications, and third-party vendor spend. The successful candidate will partner closely with technology leaders to evaluate investment opportunities, identify financial risks and opportunities, improve forecast accuracy, and ensure alignment between technology spending and the bank's strategic priorities.

  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple IT units with competing priorities.
  • Drive key components of the Technology FP&A calendar, including monthly close, forecasting, annual budgeting, variance analysis, and management reporting; ensuring deliverables are accurate and completed on schedule.
  • Conduct analysis, and drive continuous improvement of Technology monthly financial reporting, including actuals, forecasts, budget variances, key drivers, risks, opportunities, and executive-level commentary.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Technology financial data and underlying systems; reconcile reporting across source systems and proactively identify and resolve data-quality issues.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of Technology cost drivers, including labor and headcount, contractors, software, hardware, professional services, projects, and other technology-related expenses.
  • Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) along with advanced analytics capabilities to provide meaningful feedback to the IT and Finance teams.
  • Improve and simplify processes, drive standardization, and build scalable systems that support business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with controls and systems, while developing new processes to support the fast-growing IT environment across the organization.
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements. Eager to learn, grow, and drive innovative solutions in a constantly evolving business landscape.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, or closely related discipline (or demonstrated proven equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of relevant post-education experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong preference for experience supporting an IT business unit.
  • Knowledge of project accounting principles, practices, and methods along with their application to project work-related issues.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with key stakeholders and senior leadership across the organization.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and other MS Office application skills. Proficiency with Oracle and Workfront is preferable.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills; an ability to be self-motivated and work independently and collaboratively; strong commitment to customer service; and an ability to plan and manage multiple tasks.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
