Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing the daily operations of the parts department in collaboration with the Parts Manager.
- Order, receive, inspect, and properly stock truck and trailer parts, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
- Distribute parts to technicians and accurately bill parts to the appropriate repair orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder parts to maintain adequate stock and prevent shortages.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure parts are properly organized and readily accessible.
- Create, review, and monitor work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate effectively with technicians, vendors, and management regarding parts availability and inventory needs.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proactive approach with the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues efficiently.
- Previous experience with truck, trailer, automotive, or heavy-duty parts is preferred.
- Experience with inventory management and/or parts management is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Monday–Friday
- Weekly compensation based on experience
