Position Overview:

As a Wait Staff member at Western Home Communities, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents and guests have a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. This is an excellent entry-level position for those looking to get their foot in the door of the hospitality or healthcare industry, with the chance to grow in a supportive and team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve meals to residents and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Accurately take food and drink orders, present checks, and process payments
  • Assist with cleaning duties, including washing dishes and removing trash from the kitchen and dining areas
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned to ensure smooth dining operations
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the dining area

Qualifications:

  • Must be 15 years of age or older
  • A desire to contribute to an enjoyable dining experience for residents, guests, and team members
  • A servant spirit with a commitment to delivering excellent service
  • Customer service experience is preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
