The posting

Airport Veterinary Clinic is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.

In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Schedule and compensation:

  • Compensation: $15 - 17 per hour, for each hour worked
  • This is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule offering either 4x10s or 5x8s with availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating Saturday from 8am-11am once a month. If you were to do 4x10s, you'd work Tuesday - Friday and 1 Saturday per month.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
  • Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
  • Proficiency in the following skills: Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Impromed, preferred Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
