About this role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant to support Branch Distribution Strategy & Analytics. This role will combine Geographic Information Systems (GIS), business analytics, and product ownership to support strategic decisions across the retail branch network.

The individual will manage the day-to-day business ownership and continued development of the team’s internal webmap product while conducting geospatial and quantitative analyses. By combining branch, customer, competitor, demographic, financial, and market data, this role will deliver actionable insights and recommendations related to branch openings, closures, relocations, market coverage, and overall network optimization.

The successful candidate will translate complex location data into clear business recommendations, develop reusable analytical tools and workflows, and partner with Strategy, Finance, Data Science, Operations, Technology, and other stakeholders to move recommendations into execution.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the business roadmap, requirements, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of the team's internal webmap product.
  • Structure ambiguous business questions and determine the appropriate analytical approach to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets using GIS and analytical tools to identify opportunities, risks, and performance trends.
  • Translate analytical findings into executive-ready presentations, maps, visualizations, and business recommendations.
  • Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large-scale strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure the efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness of solutions and pipeline management related to assigned operations.
  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives requiring analytical skills, knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and an understanding of international business.
  • Work independently to develop recommendations for support functions while providing support and leadership.
  • Assist in planning and executing programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders to develop project plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide leadership in managing relationships and implementing programs, services, and initiatives with cross-functional business partners.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 4+ years of experience in GIS, spatial analytics, geographic data analysis, retail network planning, market analytics, real estate analytics, or related analytical disciplines.
  • 4+ years of experience building reports, dashboards, visualizations, and executive presentations using analytical tools and business intelligence platforms.
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing large, complex datasets and translating findings into actionable business recommendations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience using GIS platforms such as Esri ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, or comparable geospatial tools.
  • Experience supporting retail banking, financial services, branch distribution, or multi-site retail organizations.
  • Experience evaluating branch locations, trade areas, market potential, or real estate portfolio strategies.
  • Advanced knowledge of demographic, consumer, and geographic data sources.
  • Experience with spatial modeling, predictive analytics, and market forecasting.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, R, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical tools.
  • Ability to simplify complex analytical concepts for executive audiences.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience presenting recommendations to senior leadership and influencing business decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to support strategic business initiatives.

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule, onsite three days per week.
  • Ability to travel up to 5%.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Location

  • 1525 W.T. Harris Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28262

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
