About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Real Estate Capacity Planner (Sr. BEC) to join the Portfolio Strategy & Planning team within Corporate Properties Group (CPG). This role will support corporate real estate strategy, portfolio planning, workplace planning, and space planning by developing enterprise, market, and building capacity views that bring together workforce demand, seat supply, square footage, space utilization, allocations, portfolio strategies, and planned real estate activity. The Senior Real Estate Capacity Planner will help identify capacity risks, constraints, portfolio optimization opportunities, and potential real estate strategies for consideration by Enterprise Planning, Regional Planning, and senior leadership. The role will execute recurring enterprise real estate capacity planning and capacity forecasting activities, support complex market and portfolio scenario modeling, and translate analytical findings into clear visual materials and executive-level presentations. The Senior Real Estate Capacity Planner will work closely with Enterprise Planning, Regional Planning, Occupancy Planning, and other corporate real estate partners to ensure capacity information is accurate, consistently applied, and useful for strategic planning and portfolio decision-making.

In this role, you will:

  • Execute recurring enterprise real estate capacity planning activities, including preparation and reconciliation of current and future workforce demand, seat supply, square footage, buildings, allocations, space utilization, and planned portfolio actions
  • Apply established capacity planning, workplace planning, and portfolio planning methods, assumptions, models, and quality requirements to produce standardized enterprise, market, building, and line-of-business capacity views
  • Evaluate workforce demand and available capacity to identify potential excess capacity, shortages, constraints, data gaps, and portfolio optimization opportunities for review by Enterprise and Regional Planning teams
  • Develop short-term and long-term real estate capacity forecasts that reflect workforce plans, building exits, renovations, seats temporarily unavailable, planned consolidations, expansions, space-planning requirements, and other real estate strategies
  • Prepare analytical inputs, run established capacity and scenario models, perform initial quality reviews, and develop decision-support materials for significant market, building, and portfolio-planning questions
  • Support portfolio planning and real estate scenario modeling for senior leadership, including major building exits, market restacks, alternative attendance assumptions, workforce changes, space conversions, consolidations, and cross-market strategic-planning questions
  • Analyze capacity findings to identify material assumptions, sensitivities, limitations, space-profile considerations, implementation constraints, and potential decision implications
  • Create clear executive-level presentations, data visualizations, market summaries, and planning materials that translate complex capacity and portfolio information into actionable business insights
  • Partner with Regional Planning teams to explain capacity findings, evaluate identified portfolio optimization and real estate strategy opportunities, and apply enterprise planning standards to market strategies and recommendations
  • Partner with Occupancy Planning and Space Planning teams to evaluate detailed workplace and physical-space considerations, including seat types, workplace profiles, adjacencies, specialty-space needs, renovations, utilization, and physical feasibility
  • Create and maintain practical planning guidance, examples, templates, process documentation, and training materials that help planning teams consistently apply enterprise capacity-planning methods
  • Collaborate with Finance, Human Resources, Relationship Management, Lines of Business, Technology, data owners, and Corporate Properties Group partners to obtain, reconcile, and interpret workforce, financial, real estate, and portfolio-planning inputs
  • Contribute to real estate capacity planning, portfolio planning, and workplace-planning improvements, including standardized reporting, data-quality enhancements, analytical automation, planning-product requirements, and future AI enabled decision support

  • Strong ability to combine and analyze workforce, real estate, space, financial, and portfolio information to evaluate current conditions, future demand, capacity constraints, and potential business solutions
  • Experience supporting senior-leadership decisions through real estate scenario analysis, strategic planning, executive presentations, or portfolio recommendations

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
