The Role

We're looking for a Sales Manager to lead our team! You'll desk deals, coach the team through every step of the sale, and hit our monthly unit and gross targets. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes being on the floor, not behind a closed door.

About Wheelers Chevrolet of Coloma

Wheelers Chevrolet of Coloma is a Chevrolet dealership serving Coloma, Waushara County and the surrounding communities. We're part of Wheelers Family Auto Group, family-owned in Central Wisconsin since 1964, with six rooftops and one family. We're known for non-commission sales staff, transparent pricing and a relaxed buying experience. Big enough to serve you, small enough to know you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, train and motivate the sales team to hit monthly unit and gross goals
  • Desk and structure deals, approve pricing, and step in to close when needed
  • Appraise trade-ins and work with the Used Car Manager on pricing and inventory aging
  • Work with F&I to keep deals moving and funded on time
  • Manage internet and phone leads with the BDC
  • Monitor CSI scores and resolve escalated customer concerns
  • Recruit, hire and onboard new sales consultants
  • Keep every deal compliant with federal and Wisconsin dealer, advertising and finance regulations

What You Bring

  • [3]+ years in automotive sales, including [1–2]+ years desking deals or managing a sales team
  • Solid knowledge of deal structure, retail financing and leasing
  • A track record of hitting unit and gross targets (be ready to share numbers)
  • Experience with a dealer CRM and DMS
  • Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record

Nice to Have

  • GM / Chevrolet sales certifications
  • F&I experience
  • Experience with appraisal and pricing tools such as [vAuto]
  • Bilingual in [language]
