Als Plattform Engineer stehs Du an vorderster Front bei der Entwicklung und Implementierung unserer Infrastruktur und sorgst dafür, dass unsere Plattformen skalierbar, belastbar und effizient sind. Du wirst Dein Fachwissen über Kubernetes und Automatisierung nutzen, um unsere selbst gehosteten Umgebungen zu entwerfen und zu verbessern, und dabei eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Bereitstellung außergewöhnlicher SaaS-Dienste spielen.

Dein Aufgabenbereich

Als Junior Plattform Engineer bist du Teil unseres Infrastruktur-, Technologie- und Design-Teams (ITD) und sorgst dafür, dass unsere Plattformen stabil, performant und zukunftssicher laufen. Du entwickelst unsere Infrastruktur kontinuierlich weiter und automatisierst, wo es möglich ist:

  • Design, Aufbau und Betrieb unserer Kubernetes-Cluster (Bare Metal und Kubernetes as a Service auf OTC)
  • Betrieb und Weiterentwicklung zentraler Plattformkomponenten wie KeyDB, MongoDB, Kafka, OpenSearch, Monitoring und Logging-Stacks
  • Entwicklung und Pflege von Automatisierung mit Ansible, Helm-Charts, Flux und eigenen Scripts
  • Sicherstellung von Skalierbarkeit, Stabilität, Performance und Kostenoptimierung der Plattform
  • Mitwirkung bei Architekturentscheidungen und bei der Integration neuer Technologien (z. B. im AI-Umfeld)
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklungs-, Security- und Betriebsteams
  • Regelmäßige Modernisierung und Replacement bestehender Plattform-Stacks

Dein Profil was uns überzeugt

Du hast bereits Berührungspunkte mit modernen Container-Plattformen, hast ein tiefes Verständnis von Software-Engineering und dem Bau von Container-basierten Applikationen. Fachlich bringst du mit:

  • Eine gute Übersicht vom Aufbau und Betrieb von Kubernetes-Clustern
  • Erste Erfahrung mit Automatisierung (Ansible, Helm, Flux, Scripting)
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in verteilten Systemen und Plattformdiensten (KeyDB, MongoDB, Kafka, OpenSearch)
  • Kenntnisse mit Monitoring- und Logging-Systemen
  • Sehr gute Softwareentwicklungskenntnisse
  • Verständnis für IT-Sicherheit und den Aufbau sicherer, robuster Plattformen
