We hebben momenteel een uitdagende positie open als Application Engineer in een innovatieve en dynamische machinebouwomgeving. In deze rol kom je terecht in een sterk familiebedrijf in de regio Gent dat zowel actief is als gespecialiseerde machinebouwer als exclusief distributeur van geavanceerde procestechnologieën.

Concreet:

  • Een gevarieerde spilfunctie waarin je klantspecifieke engineering, R&D-sparring, aftersales-coördinatie en technische support combineert
  • Analyseren en oplossen van complexe mechatronische en technische vraagstukken op echt ingenieursniveau (elektrotechniek, pneumatica en thermodynamica)
  • Actieve betrokkenheid bij de ontwikkeling, optimalisatie en klantspecifieke aanpassingen van eigen hoogtechnologische machines en systemen
  • Fungeren als inhoudelijk sparringpartner voor interne ontwikkelaars, Sales Engineers en techniekers om klanteisen te vertalen naar werkbare concepten
  • Verlenen van diepgaande technische support bij Aftersales, inclusief het analyseren van elektrische schema's en het opsporen van complexe storingen
  • Verantwoordelijk voor de aftersales-coördinatie, de voorbereiding van interventies, offertematige calculaties en de opvolging van preventief onderhoud
  • Testen en valideren van nieuwe componenten en prototypes in de werkplaats met directe ondersteuning aan het technici-team
  • Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels (Frans is een plus)
  • Een intensieve onboarding met hands-on begeleiding door de Senior Engineer en veel autonomie binnen een hechte, warme KMO-omgeving in volle digitalisering
