Job Description

Salary: £25,614 pro rata (£13.28 per hour)

Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 11.45am – 1pm, 6.25 hours per week (term time only)

Contract type: Permanent

Heddington CE VA Primary School must be seen to be fully appreciated boasting wonderful grounds and surrounding area. We are a caring and dedicated team who are committed to delivering a high standard of education and social development for all of our pupils within a supportive Christian environment. Everything we do is for the benefit of the children.

All about the role:

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, confident and reliable person to join our lunchtime team from Monday to Friday. The role will include serving dinners to our wonderful children, supervising playground games and clearning and cleaning the hall after use. The successful candidate will be calm and organised and able to work at a good pace. A first aid qualification and level 2 basic food hygiene certificate are ideal but not essential. Full training will be provided.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an excellent role model who is able to work calmly under pressure.
  • Have a fun loving sense of humour and forge good realtionships with staff and children.
  • Be able to work as part of a team and willing to go the extra mile!
