The posting

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

About the team

The Growth & Product Platform team builds the full-stack systems and services that power user onboarding, trial activation, product discovery, and intelligent engagement across Snowflake. Our mission is to build reliable services, experimentation infrastructure, and data-driven capabilities that help users discover and adopt the full value of the AI Data Cloud. As part of our team, you will work across the full stack: React and TypeScript frontends, Go and Node.js/TypeScript backend services, Java platform integrations, and SQL-based data platforms. A key area of focus is driving Snowflake's product-led growth (PLG) motion and developer adoption initiatives for Cortex Code, our AI-powered development environment. We design in-product discovery mechanisms, intelligent prompts, and contextual starter experiences that guide users to relevant workflows and deepen engagement. We balance rigorous platform engineering with fast-paced product iteration, caring deeply about building systems that are reliable, maintainable, and observable. Snowflake is growing fast, and we are looking for strong engineers to help scale the platform capabilities driving our core product growth.

AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER FOR THE GROWTH & PRODUCT PLATFORM TEAM, YOU WILL:

  • Design, build, and ship full-stack features and platform infrastructure that power Snowflake's user-facing product journeys.
  • Build and improve frontend experiences using React and TypeScript, including in-product onboarding flows, contextual prompts, and interactive UI components that drive user engagement.
  • Drive product-led growth (PLG) initiatives end to end, collaborating with product managers and data scientists to identify activation bottlenecks and build self-serve capabilities that expand product adoption.
  • Build full-stack systems and contextual experiences that drive discovery and adoption for Cortex Code, including intelligent prompts, starter workflows, and workspace integration points.
  • Drive product experimentation end to end: formulating hypotheses, collaborating on test design, implementing frontend and backend variants, and analyzing performance metrics to guide decisions.
  • Bring strong product thinking to technical design, translating user journeys and engagement signals into scalable system capabilities.
  • Analyze user behavioral data and platform telemetry to evaluate experiment outcomes, assess feature adoption, and inform technical architecture.
  • Build and scale critical backend services supporting trial activation, user onboarding, account provisioning, learning environments, and anti-abuse safeguards.
  • Debug and resolve complex production issues across distributed services, relational databases, and platform infrastructure.
  • Contribute across the full development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to testing, deployment, and operational ownership.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, data science, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact product features.
  • Contribute to a strong engineering culture through code reviews, technical design discussions, mentoring, and operational excellence.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH:

  • 6+ years of experience designing and building large-scale distributed or user-facing systems in production environments, with experience across both frontend and backend.
  • A strong foundation in full-stack development. You should have experience with frontend technologies and frameworks like TypeScript and React, and experience building backend services in languages like Go, Java, or TypeScript/Node.js.
  • Strong product sense and interest in product-led growth (PLG), user onboarding, and feature adoption mechanics.
  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, or feature-flagging workflows.
  • Comfort working with data: querying analytical data stores (SQL), understanding product telemetry, and using metrics to evaluate user behavior and system performance.
  • Experience with distributed systems, REST/gRPC APIs, relational databases (such as PostgreSQL), or data platforms.
  • Strong coding and debugging skills, with the ability to navigate complex full-stack system architectures.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across engineering, product, and data science teams.
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we are scaling our team to help enable and accelerate that growth. We are looking for engineers who share our values, challenge conventional thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a meaningful career at Snowflake.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
